新婚夫妇戴维和艾米的车子在一个无名的地方抛锚了，他们不得不在附近唯一的汽车旅馆里过夜。旅馆的房间里只有一台电视机供他们打发时间。他们惊奇的发现，电视机所播放的节目，拍摄的正是他们现在所留宿的这个房间！原来房间里隐藏的摄像机将他们的一举一动都拍摄了下来。戴维和艾米要么想方设法活着出去，要么就成为下一部杀人电影的男女主角！

　　出生在加州的尼莫洛德·安塔尔1991年前往匈牙利工作定居。2005年，他的作品《地铁风情画》（Kontroll）获得了巨大成功之后，他回到了美国，现在居住在加州。饰演艾米的凯特·贝金赛尔73年出生于英格兰，她最为出名的作品是有一部关于二战的电视电影《豪情女子》（One Against the Wind），她的其他主要作品还有《都是男人惹的祸》（Much Ado About Nothing）和《Prince of Jutland》等，BBC的电视剧《Cold Comfort Farm》为她打开了进军美国演艺圈的道路。饰演戴维的卢克·威尔逊1971年出生在达拉斯，他曾经出演过的电影有喜剧《亲兄弟免算帐》（Old School）和《温德尔·贝克的故事》（The Wendell Baker Story）等
